ONLY GOD (POEM)

Drawn to a nation defeated from a resisted tyranny
And our leaders claim otherwise
To whom do they despair
They deceive none but the poor masses

Clinging from their own selfish volition
To unleash false righteousness on the majority
To achieve a desired end
To what retired means
Do they unveil

And I pour out my purest soul
To my nation drawn to dark ages
By toothless old men
Who do but work after their own gain
My truest pray'r to their own vainWho but only God can stop that long
To do but save a nation from the noisy dong
To whom we do but pray
Just to remember but save the Giant of Africa
Walking near, through the doom of oblivion Perhaps am drawn to the facts
But who do you think can save
A nation dying from the dawn of a new era
Whose leaders volitions are none but false
Who do you think can save the innocents
From the prying fangs of the smiling tyrants None other but God.
