THE BLACK SHEEP

You get treated like a pariah
For going against the grain
Your shadow is your only friend
Because you've grown accustomed to being alone

Being alone, isolated on an island
Surrounded by crystal clearwater
With Hope on the horizon
You take pride in being labelled an outcast

An outcast, you stand stronger
As one opposed to following a herd
You'd rather be heard
Than to blend in with the weeping sheep

Weeping sheep try to close the distance
By creating tension disguise as good intentions
They beg you to blend in
Because they fear what you will become
When you realize your potential

Your potential is God given
Follow your intuition
Your heart knows best
Been the Black sheep means
You are divided from the rest.
